Job Description:

Our company seeks exceptional candidates comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will provide outstanding customer service while working with others to ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the store. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, both in person and on the phone
• Assist customers in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner
• Advise customers as needed by providing appropriate information on products
• Process in-store and delivery transactions using point-of-sale software program and in-house order system
• Assist with receiving inventory, stocking shelves and maintaining a full selection of inventory throughout the store
• Prepare for customer inquiries by maintaining a working knowledge of products, services, and customer service processes

Skills/Qualifications:

• Prior sales or customer service experience, or other relevant work history
• High standards and commitment to excellence, particularly in the area of customer service and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, team-based approach, and attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge, and assist customers in selecting products
• Prior experience, education or training related to animal feed and husbandry, pet food and supplies, and local agriculture
• Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule
• Proficiency with office equipment including computer hardware and software
